A Career in Community and Personal Care

Community and Personal Care provides non-medical home care, companion care and homemaker services to seniors and people recovering from illness or surgery. Care options include 24-hour, live-in home care and hourly care.

We recognize that certain illnesses and diseases are more common to seniors. That’s why we provide special training to our caregivers on communicating with patients who have Alzheimer's and related dementia, hearing loss, and aphasia.


Making a Difference - Services provided by the Community and Personal Care attendants:

  • respite care for family
  • transportation to physician, hairdresser and other appointments
  • light housekeeping
  • shopping and other household duties
  • preparing and serving meals according to dietary needs
  • medication reminders
  • overseeing and assisting with ambulation
  • assisting with personal care, such as bathing, grooming and dressing
  • assisting with correspondence to family and friends
  • providing socialization, friendship and support
  • encouraging and participating with client in favorite activities/hobbies
  • accompanying client when traveling to visit family or on personal business
